Opened in 1927, the Nordschleife runs through the Eifel with substantial elevation changes. Its complete 20,832-metre lap belongs to the circuit’s endurance-racing and testing story and must not be confused with a shorter tourist-driving timing distance. The modern Grand Prix circuit joined it in 1984. Several configurations are possible; the 5,148 metres recorded here refer to the documented record configuration. Visitors need to distinguish the activities: cars can use released tourist sessions on the Nordschleife or GP circuit, while motorcycle tourist riding is GP-only. Booked sports-driver courses and viewing from the visitor grandstand are separate offers. None automatically includes a race ticket or access to a particular track section.

Separately booked Driving Academy training in your own car on the GP circuit. Confirm course admission, eligibility and the configuration used; the documented 5,148-metre record configuration is not a universal course distance.
Outside events, the operator opens part of the BMW M Power T 3 grandstand opposite the pit lane, reached through Entrance 1 on ring°boulevard. Check current release and visiting hours; this does not include race admission or guarantee cars running on track.
