BILSTER BERG opened in 2013 on a former ammunition depot. Hermann Tilke designed the circuit, with Walter Röhrl contributing his experience to its demanding layout. The 4.2-kilometre asphalt ribbon follows hilly terrain through 19 corners, crests and dips, including the distinctive Mausefalle section. Its western and eastern loops can operate separately. The operator primarily positions the venue as a testing, presentation and training facility. Visitors therefore need to select a specific driving event and provider, rather than assume daily tourist driving or a conventional race calendar with freely accessible grandstands.
