Your first track visit: from choosing an activity to arriving
Decide whether you want to drive, attend a course or spectate. Then find a specific date for that activity. A venue being open does not establish whether your chosen activity is available.

1. Choose the right activity
Check the vehicle, track area and experience level. Describe your background accurately: Doc-Scholl, for example, asks about your motorcycle, riding experience and previous training when allocating groups.
2. Plan check-in and arrival separately
Allow time before the driving session. At ProKart Wackersdorf, a first rental-kart visit involves registration, session check-in and a briefing. For travel, read current operator instructions: the Nürburgring, for example, publishes separate information about access, parking and diversions.
| Activity | Check beforehand |
|---|---|
| Drive yourself | Which vehicle, layout, requirements and documents? |
| Take a course | Is coaching included, for which level and with which vehicle? |
| Spectate | Which spectator ticket and entrance apply to this event day? |
Before you leave
- Save the date, activity name and booking confirmation where you can access them.
- Check participation conditions, required equipment and documents.
- Confirm check-in time and briefing location with the provider.
- Use the confirmed entrance and parking area rather than only a general map pin.
- On the day, check current notices and keep the provider’s contact details available.
Aim for a confirmed place in a suitable activity. Then plan the journey around that booking.
