A place for historic off-road motorcycles
The Vintage Trophy is a competition for historic enduro motorcycles. Model, year and technical specification determine the class; the regulations add requirements and exceptions.
The 2026 Vintage week
The 29 September–3 October programme included opening activities, scrutineering and four competition days. It combined an acceleration test, routes with cross and enduro tests, and the final motocross in Venusberg. This was a multi-day competition using different course sections, rather than one permanent circuit.
The 2026 motorcycle categories
Manufacturing cut-offs under the 2026 FIM regulations. Technical requirements, capacity classes and exceptions also apply. This overview does not replace scrutineering and does not establish eligibility at other events.
Town centre, service area and paddock
In 2026 the parc fermé was in central Zschopau, the service paddock on Neue Marienberger Straße, and the paddock in Hohndorf. These sites had different functions and access permissions. Their historical locations are not current entrance or parking instructions.
Vintage Trophy and “Rund um Zschopau”
MSC MZ explains its connection to the modern “Rund um Zschopau” championship event and the cooperation between local clubs. The Vintage Trophy is a separate format. Access permission, classes or entries for one event do not automatically apply to the other.
Motorcycle heritage beyond a race day
At Schloss Wildeck, “Motorrad(t)räume” displays motorcycles from Zschopau’s DKW and MZ brands. The museum also lists the German Enduro Museum as a Biker Ticket partner. Museum visits are separate activities; check opening, admission and special dates directly with each museum.
Planning a visit
The tourist information office is at Schloss Wildeck. Its travel information covers town-centre parking and rail connections. For a new motorsport event, follow the organiser’s visitor and parking instructions as well; old event points do not replace them.
Zschopau: common questions
Can I ride the EVT course today?
The event does not grant that permission. Do not retrace the former routes. Any riding activity needs a newly confirmed date and the relevant permission.
Does Open 1991 provide general access in Zschopau?
No. It is a motorcycle category in the specified regulations. Technical compliance must be combined with entry to a specific event.
Where can I find future dates?
Check the respective organiser. This feature records the researched position; the 2026 dates are not a currently bookable offer or confirmation for 2027.
